Allmakes GAL048 steering guard installation

Left mount, uses 2 existing bolts. Note the vehicle is left hand drive, so steering damper chassis mount is at opposite side. When ordering the steering guard you need to specify whether you have LHD or RHD vehicle. Product code GAL048 if for LHD vehicle only, for RHD use GAL047.
Right mount also uses 2 existing bolts.
That’s it!
Update (July 2005): I now installed genuine front Jate rings (ZXC9435) and that required making some modifications to the original plate and mounts. I used angle grinder.
Although this kind of cutting may look to weaken the mount considerably, actually it is still pretty solid with the plate mounted.
